How to Add a Product

Adding a Product to Your Store

Products are the core of your store. Follow these steps to add a product correctly after setting up categories, brands, labels, and attributes.

Steps to Add a Product

1. Go to Products > Product in your dashboard.
2. Click Create to add a new product.

Main Information

• Name*: Enter the product name.
• Category*: Select a category (mandatory).
• Tax: Select the applicable tax.
• Tax Status: Choose Taxable or Non-Taxable.
• Brand: Select the brand.
• Label: Assign a label (optional).
• Tags: Add product tags to improve searchability (e.g., Rolex, Luxury Watch).

Shipping

• Shipping: Select shipping options.
• Weight (Kg): Enter the product weight for shipping calculations.

Pricing

• Price*: Set the regular product price.
• Sale Price: Enter discounted price if applicable.

Product Stock & Inventory

• Stock Management: Enable if you want automatic inventory tracking.
• Stock Status: Choose In Stock, Out of Stock, or On Backorder.

Product Display

• Display Variants: Show product variations like color or size on the product page.
• Trending: Toggle if you want this product to appear in trending sections.
• Display Product: Make it visible on the store or hide it temporarily.

Custom Fields

Add any additional custom fields relevant to the product.

Product Images

• Upload Product Images*: Upload main images of the product. Recommended size: 800x800px.
• Upload Icon: Optional small icon for product lists.
• Upload Cover Image*: Optional large cover image for featured display.
• Downloadable Product: Upload a file if this product is digital.
• Preview Type & Video: Add a video preview if available.

Product Attributes

• Select existing attributes (e.g., size, color) to create variants.
• Variants will display automatically on the product page if enabled.

About Product

• Product Description: Add a detailed description of the product.
• Product Specification: List technical details or specs.
• Product Details: Additional information like usage instructions, care tips, etc.

Tips for Adding Products

• Ensure all required fields are filled (*) before saving.
• Use high-quality images and videos for better presentation.
• Add proper tags, categories, and attributes to improve discoverability.
• Preview the product page before publishing to verify everything looks correct.

Once all information is filled in, click Save to publish your product. Your product will now be visible on your store according to the display and trending settings.
