How to Add a Product Testimonial

Adding Product Testimonials

Testimonials build trust with your customers and provide social proof that encourages purchases.

Steps to Add a Testimonial

  1. Go to Products > Testimonials in your dashboard.
  2. Click Add Testimonial.

Testimonial Fields Explained

  • Title: Enter a short title for the testimonial (e.g., “Amazing Product”).
  • Description: Write the full testimonial or feedback from the customer.
  • Category*: Select the relevant product category that this testimonial belongs to.
  • Product: Assign the testimonial to a specific product (optional).
  • Rating: Set a rating from 1 to 5 stars to reflect customer satisfaction.
  • User Name: Enter the name of the customer who provided the testimonial.
  • Avatar: Upload an optional user image or avatar to make the testimonial more authentic.
  • Status: Choose Active to display the testimonial or Inactive to hide it.

 

Tips for Adding Testimonials

  • Use real customer feedback to build credibility.
  • Include images if possible; they increase trust and engagement.
  • Keep testimonials relevant to the product or category.
  • Moderate testimonials before making them active to maintain quality.

Once all fields are completed, click Save. The testimonial will now appear on the assigned product or category page for customers to see.
